To All :  The 2012 SSHS Soccer Banquet will be held on May 17th, 6:00pm at the Shriners Club. 

Congratulations to Midanah Penda for being selected to participate in the 16th annual North-South All-Star Soccer Game during All-Star Sports Week. On behalf of the Soccer Coaching Staff, we are extremely proud of the accomplishments of this exemplary student-athlete. We sincerely believe that this recognition is well deserved. It is also a testament to the tremendous effort and positive results, of the entire Girls Soccer Team, that Midanah is being recognized in this manner. We look forward to her participation in the All-Star Sports Week in Montgomery during the week of July 9-13, 2012.

- FAQ -

Q- Where are the games being played this year?

A- all games will be played at the new fields behind the new High School - WHEN THE FIELD IS COMPLETED.

** HOME GAMES HAVE BEEN MOVED TO THE STADIUM AT THE OLD HIGH SCHOOL UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Q- Are the fields lighted?

A- One practice field is lighted now and the game field will be lighted prior to the season.

Q- Will there be a concession stand at the new field.

A- The have started construction on the new concession stand and rest rooms. This is supposed to be completed prior to the season.

Q- Will there be discounted gate passes for home games.

A-  YES

Q- Where will practices be held?

A- Each team will make this decision.  Practice space is available on the practice fields at the new high school and at band field at the Jr.High School

Q- What about seating

A- Metal bleachers (like the ones at the baseball fields) are supposed to be available prior to the season.  However, if they are not installed in time, Lawn chairs will be used.  

Q- How close can spectators get to the field?

A- Anyone sitting closer than 5 yards (15 feet) will be asked to move back. Under no circumstances can anyone walk onto the field during play.
